The Life of St. Paul
This year’s Vacation Bible School is set for Sunday, June 14–Thursday, June 18, 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. The theme is CROSS-EYED: THE LIFE OF ST. PAUL, and we will focus on how the cross of Jesus Christ redeems us from sin, frees us from the power of Satan, gives life to those who are dead, and anchors our lives in this world in preparation and anticipation for the life to come.
Here is the schedule of the week’s topics:
Sunday—Enemies of the Cross (Acts 7:54–8:3)
Monday—Redeemed by the Cross (Acts 9:1–25)
Tuesday—Freed by the Cross (Acts 16:16–34)
Wednesday—Life through the Cross (Acts 20:7–12)
Thursday—Anchored by the Cross (Acts 27:1–44)
We strive to provide both an enjoyable environment as well as a quality learning experience. Through craft and play, music, teaching, and worship, your child will grow in their understanding of themselves, the world around them, and their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is that they will continue to be surrounded by God’s Word through regular church attendance as well as daily prayer and devotion in the home. To this end, if there is a way that I may be of spiritual assistance to you or to your family, please contact me. Vacation Bible School is a wonderful thing, but continual growth in hearing God’s Word and receiving His gifts is the ultimate aim and final goal of all Christian teaching and the Christian life.
