On Tuesday, March 22, in the year of our Lord 2016, Lauren Braaten gave birth to a thirteen-week-old child. The baby had already gone to be with her Lord. She was given the name Helena Moriah. The doctor released her body so that she may be given a proper burial. We do not mourn as those who have no hope because Jesus lives. But we still mourn. Therefore, the funeral will be, Tuesday, March 29, 4:00 pm, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola, Illinois, followed immediately by the committal at Tuscola Township Cemetery. Rev. Christopher Seifferlein, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Adell, Wisconsin, will preside. There will be no funeral supper after the committal. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, for our sister, Helena Moriah.
