Daniel: Life in Exile
This year’s Vacation Bible School is set for Sunday, June 12–Thursday, June 16, 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. The theme is DANIEL: LIFE IN EXILE, and we will focus on how the faithful live in exile as they make their way to their true home in heaven.
Here is the schedule of the week’s topics:
Sunday—Israel in Exile
Monday—Daniel Refuses Defilement (Daniel 1)
Tuesday—Fiery Furnace & the Lions’ Den (Daniel 3 & 6)
Wednesday—Writing on the Wall (Daniel 5)
Thursday—Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream (Daniel 2)
We strive to provide both an enjoyable environment as well as a quality learning experience. Through craft and play, music, teaching, and worship, your child will grow in their understanding of themselves, the world around them, and their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is that they will continue to be surrounded by God’s Word through regular church attendance as well as daily prayer and devotion in the home. To this end, if there is a way that I may be of spiritual assistance to you or to your family, please contact me. Vacation Bible School is a wonderful thing, but continual growth in hearing God’s Word and receiving His gifts is the ultimate aim and final goal of all Christian teaching and the Christian life.
