Holy Week & Easter Services 2026
Holy Week draws us into the heart of the Christian faith: Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection for the salvation of the world. We invite you to join us as we walk with our Lord from the Upper Room to the empty tomb.
Maundy Thursday
April 2, 2026 | 7:00 PM
On Maundy Thursday, we remember the night our Lord Jesus Christ was betrayed. This service focuses on Christ’s command to love one another and His gift of the Lord’s Supper, where He gives His true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. The service concludes in quiet reflection as the altar is stripped, preparing us for Good Friday.
Good Friday – Tenebrae Vespers
April 3, 2026 | 7:00 PM
Good Friday is the solemn day we remember the suffering and death of Christ on the cross. In this Tenebrae (“darkness”) service, Scripture readings trace the Passion of our Lord as candles are gradually extinguished, symbolizing the deepening darkness of the crucifixion. We gather in silence and repentance, trusting that Christ’s death is our life.
Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil
April 4, 2026 | 7:00 PM
The Easter Vigil is the Church’s ancient watch at the tomb. We gather in the stillness between cross and resurrection, hearing the great stories of God’s saving work throughout history. The service moves from darkness to light as we anticipate and proclaim Christ’s victory over sin, death, and the grave.
Easter Sunday – Easter Day Divine Service
April 5, 2026| 9:30 AM
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
On Easter morning, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ—the foundation of our hope and the promise of our own resurrection. With joyful hymns, Scripture, preaching, and the Lord’s Supper, we rejoice that death has been defeated and forgiveness and life are ours in Christ.
