Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with Pastor Jason Braaten officiating. No visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.

Corinne was born on September 8, 1932 in Tuscola, IL the daughter of Francis and Helen Sudduth. She married Herman L. Oye on October 8, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2013.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, son: Herman L. Oye, Jr. and brother: Myron Joseph Sudduth.

Survivors include her sister: Janet M. Bartley of Tuscola, IL; sons: Michael E. Oye and wife Sandy of Arcola, IL and Kevin H. Oye and wife Teresa of Tuscola, IL; grandchildren: Allison Oye (Miceal Rooney), Justin Oye and Stephanie Cohen.

Corinne worked as a telephone operator from 1949 to 1955, at USI from 1955 to 1958 then was a stay at home mom and housewife from 1958 to 1970. She returned to work in 1970 as the office manager at Tuscola IGA and retired in 1998 after 28 years.

Corinne was a long standing member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tuscola, IL. Her hobbies included baking, making quilts and restoring antique trunks.
